Planning Your Summer in the Monadnock Region

Summer is right around the corner, and these past few days’ worth of warm weather has made sure to remind us of just how close we are! The warmth has gotten us all excited for the many events and activities that the summer promises here in the Monadnock region, so to help you plan your summer trip take a look below at the list of ideas we’ve curated for you!

Hiking is of course one of the first things that comes to mind when the weather finally turns nice. Thankfully here in the Monadnock region we are surrounded by many places trails of all levels. Just in Peterborough alone there is a day’s worth of hiking to enjoy, such as Cranberry Meadow Pond, Miller State Park, Shieling Forest and more. Plan a day out on the water with a kayak or canoe! Head over to places like Edward MacDowell Dam or Powdermill Pond to get out onto the water. Don’t have your own kayak?
