November in the Monadnock Region has early bird shoppers covered, from craft fairs to special events at locally owned business. Nothing is quite as stressful as gathering up special items for the loved ones in your life in such a short amount of time, so thankfully this month is chock full of chances to find something just right for everyone on your holiday list.
Peterborough is the place to be on Saturday, November 17th. The Annual Peterborough Holiday Stroll celebrates 25 years of multiple church craft sales, with entertainment for all ages. From meeting Santa’s Elf to live music and a cookie walk, the Holiday Stroll is the perfect way to start the day! The event runs from 9am-2pm throughout town. The United Methodist will also be selling homemade pies, which I’ve heard are going to be quite a treat! For those on a budget, head over to Peterborough’s Town Hall. Broke* Affordable Arts Fair from 10am-4pm will be featuring 50+ artists selling unique and handmade items under $50. From 10am-3pm, the Conval Regional High School in Peterborough will be hosting their Holiday Craft Fair in the gym. You can refuel after at their food court!
Stonewall Farm is having their Thanksgiving Farm Fare event starting in the afternoon on Friday, November 16th from 4-7pm and then from 9am-3pm on Saturday the 17th. The event is a perfect chance to shop local farms and specialty shops to get fresh ingredients and tasty additions to your meals. The rest of November has lots of offerings to find something unique. Plaid Friday falls on November 23rd. This is a chance to snag products from local businesses to show your support within the Monadnock Region. Keene’s Annual Holiday Craft Show follows on the 24th, which is also Small Business Saturday. From xx-xx, be sure to head to Keene High School and check out the vendors and artisans before you head downtown to show your support for all the small businesses!
